Description of the tour

We hike through the snow, travel by train and warm ourselves up in wonderful station bars. And it goes on like this all weekend long! Help!

Prepayment for accommodation and tickets

249 € for the two nights with breakfast and all train tickets from/to Dresden, for a wonderful program and the knowledgeable and thirsty tour guide as well as numerous surprises. The exact costs including meals will be billed as usual after the trip in detail, transparently and individually with Bohemian precision. Any costs incurred over and above the advance payment must be paid immediately.

Arrival and departure to/from Dresden

I would be happy to organize a ticket for you to travel to and from Dresden from where you live. I strongly encourage you to book these tickets through me. This makes sense because you then enjoy full passenger rights if your train to Dresden or our last train from the Czech Republic to Germany is delayed. If you live in Dresden, are traveling by car or have a day's buffer in Dresden, none of this is of course of interest to you.

Information at a glance

My trips are characterized by a certain element of surprise. Just accept that you won't know exactly where you're going.

The costs mentioned are my estimate for tickets and accommodation and must be paid in advance, at the latest three months before the start of the tour.

Cancellation of any ticket I have already purchased for you is usually possible up to one day before the first day of validity for a fee of €3 per ticket. Accommodation can usually be cancelled free of charge three to four days before the trip. Please only use this in urgent cases (e.g. illness).

Night train and seat reservations are subject to special cancellation conditions.

Food and drink during the tour will initially be paid for by me and then billed to you individually with Bohemian precision together with the total costs actually incurred.

Advance and additional payments must be made on time, otherwise the rail line will be blocked for life.

Since I organize and conduct my tours privately and in my free time, I reserve the right to decide who I want to take with me and who I don't. A request is therefore only considered confirmed after confirmation and a rejection can have many reasons (for example, it could be that too many travel friends have already registered).

Please only request tours that you actually want to take part in. Bulk requests made as a precautionary measure will take places away from others and will therefore not be accepted.

Please write to me if you still want to go on a tour that is marked as fully booked, maybe I can still do something. Please contact me if anything changes for you and if you have any questions or special requests.

Please do not take a suitcase with you on the tour, but rather a backpack.

Please avoid playing music or using the phone in the presence of the group during the tour.

Please indicate in your enquiry whether you would like to sleep in a single or double room.

Please always check your spam folder, unfortunately emails from me often end up there.

Good to know: my little dog Pavel comes with me on most tours.

After your request, you will receive a confirmation or cancellation by email. About two weeks before the trip, I will send you further information about the tour and the tickets for the trip. One or two days beforehand, you will also receive a weather forecast from me.

Please let me book your arrival and departure to/from Dresden at the same time. This is the only way you can enjoy full passenger rights and also benefit from low prices.
