"The trip was my highlight of this year's rail travel." As usual, we were carefully provided with tickets and seat reservations to Dresden and were able to get in the mood for the trip with the other participants. The first surprise came in the reserved dining car to Prague with a champagne reception along the Elbe. In Pilsen, being at the tram stop at the right time for a city tour under the pretense was a stroke of genius. When the historic train arrived, everyone thought it was a coincidence. But when the driver opened the doors for us, the surprise was a success. The two-hour tour with photo stops was premium. Friends, relatives and work colleagues were all jealous of the pictures taken during the tour. The next tours have already been booked for next year; I'm already looking forward to it. Thank you for four wonderful days.

"Perfect organization" Perfect organization, it was my first trip. I didn't know what I was getting myself into, but I wasn't disappointed. Keep it up.

"You should get involved!" Before the journey on the railway line, I was well informed about what I needed to know, but nothing more. This meant that I could relax and look forward to one or two surprises. The journey itself started off carefree and with excellent supplies. Unforeseen circumstances that were not my fault were dealt with in a straightforward manner by Tom. Spontaneous requests from participants, such as a stroll through the city or a visit to the train station, were immediately taken into account and implemented. The selected connections and the rolling stock were extremely varied: from urban S-Bahn traffic to express trains to the most rural branch line, everything was there. In terms of vehicles, we drove on pretty much everything that there is in the Czech Republic (RegioMouse/Lunchbox, CityElefant, RegioNova, RegioShark, Rohlik, 628, RegioJet, EuroCity, compartment carriage with window open, diesel locomotive, electric locomotive, transistor, historic train, Škoda 15 T tram, ferry and much more). This also meant that we were able to take one or two great photos. It's an art to pack all that into a weekend - hats off! The selected station bars were first class, always open and always had Pivo, Utopenec, Hermelín and Klobása. At lunchtime there was more and more of something restaurateur-like, so you could also fill your belly with Knedliky, Guláš or Svíčková. The tour guides make sure that you don't get stuck in a bar and that you can still experience the other highlights of the day. The balanced mix of drinking, driving and short walks makes it a very relaxed trip. If you want, you can get more information about trains, routes, the surrounding area and bars - hura Tom! You just have to be willing to hand over control to the tour guide and be prepared to spend a weekend with new, unknown travel friends. So go for it!

"It was a brilliant trip" It was a brilliant trip, where even train delays led to positive travel experiences. I was still completely blown away on Monday ("flashed" in modern parlance).
Never in my long life have I drunk 21 beers in one weekend - and I never felt drunk. Instead, I felt comfortable among friends of the cultivated travel culture.

"It was, as always, a great pleasure (and a privilege!)"
As always, it was a great pleasure (and a privilege!) to take part in one of your tours. I find it fascinating that, even though we missed a bar on the last day, we never had the feeling that we were missing out on anything, quite the opposite! Your detailed accounting afterwards also deserves praise.
I really hope that you don't lose interest in it so quickly, so that the interested nerd (in this case that would be myself) can still go on the trip with you from time to time. It certainly won't be the last time. Thank you for the great weekend.

"Thank you for this wonderful trip" Dear Tom, thank you for this wonderful trip #létopivo and for thinking of me. The whole package and the mix of everything was just perfect for me, just like your premium travel group. How could I make compromises on all the things that we were all able to influence and I love your surprises, even the little ones.
I just enjoyed the whole weekend and it did me a lot of good. For me, rail trips are like being able to travel on my own back roads and experience and discover so many new things - in the world, in people and in myself. Thank you very much for your perspective!

"It was great all around!"
I thought the composition and size of the group was top notch. The short hikes were really good. I can't find anything to complain about, it's really annoying...
Hopefully my liver will continue to play along for a long time to come so that I can take part in as many rail journeys as possible!
[Karo from Berlin]
"Soooooo..."
As I mentioned often enough during the trip itself: it was exactly what I was looking for. Enough time to gather great impressions, but also a really optimal program for one day, not too much, not too little and varied.
The mix of surprises and available alternatives in case of delays is really great in my opinion. I'm already looking forward to the next time and hope that I can maximize the profit for you!
[Bastian from Austria]
"Still excited"
As I said during the trip and in the tweets, I was and still am excited about the trip. With everything and exactly as it happened. I've been trying not to get worked up about little things for a long time, like a breakfast buffet that's too small, different service or often being reserved towards holidaymakers/strangers; city tours that are very church-focused or fellow travellers who are different. I'm always happy to be a guest in another country and I don't have any other expectations attached to it - that's what travelling is all about for me. Otherwise, I can stay at home and go to my usual restaurants and meet the same people over and over again.
I particularly liked how you catered to our needs. Little things like not packing the day too full after the night train journey, but going to the hotel in the afternoon. That way everyone has their own space and the time they need alone. Your sensitivity towards fellow travellers and fascination for this type of travel is what makes the trips so special. And the next trip(s) are coming up. That should be proof enough.

"This makes traveling really fun!"
I really, really enjoyed your tour. I had a lot of fun and was very happy that I was there. Even the couchette was a good decision.
For me, the tour was just the right mix of taking the train, drinking a beer, but also looking at the scenery and taking photos. I hadn't expected it to work out like that. After what I had seen of your tours before registering, I had expected everything from a 'drinking tour' to a 'train-fuzzy' tour. And don't get me wrong: anything would have been fine for me and I would have enjoyed it. But the mix was just perfect.
I thought it was great how flexible your tours were and that you respond directly to the needs of the passengers and actually always offer several options. I enjoyed drinking beer as well as traveling back and forth in the dining car. Hiking along the Tatra Railway was a great experience, as was the ice path in the High Tatras. The station bars were great, as was the overnight stay. All of this with a fun group.
For me it was the perfect mix. Thank you for your organization! It's a shame that you can ONLY give 5 stars.
[Michael from Dusseldorf]
"Turn back the time"
There are moments and events that make you wish you could turn back time. The tour at the weekend was definitely one of those events. Well organized, exciting locations and a great group. It couldn't be better. If I could wish for one thing, it would be that you don't change anything, absolutely nothing, about this tour. The station pub tour must stay the same as the original. More beer, more pubs - no. It's all fine. So please don't let yourself be influenced by wanting to do something better. But I'll definitely be back.
